The event was honored to invite the Pingxiang Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce, representatives of outstanding local enterprises in Pingxiang, and the regional managers of Alibaba in Jiangxi, the central and western regions. At the meeting, everyone expressed their opinions on the current situation and prospects of cross-border e-commerce.
First, Section Chief Chen of Pingxiang Municipal Bureau of Commerce delivered an opening speech, expounding the impact of the digital economy on cross-border e-commerce under the new format. Foreign trade is an industry with both challenges and hopes. It is necessary to grasp innovation and maintain steady and continuous growth. At the meeting, Section Chief Chen put forward a future outlook. It is expected that by 2025, the turnover of cross-border e-commerce in Pingxiang City will reach 15% of the city’s total import and export volume, realizing the transformation and upgrading of foreign trade. He also said that he would strive to increase financial support for cross-border e-commerce and strengthen the construction of bonded areas.
